An appraisal is a process the appraiser goes through to determine the value of a piece of equipment. An appraisal is done by an interested party according to specific standards for the type of asset being appraised.

Our appraisers will appraise just one machine or an entire plant with varied equipment! We can also provide information on your capital equipment and our Free Referral Service will find the best match for your machinery value needs.

When you reach out to us, we will match you with a Certified Equipment Appraiser (CEA) on staff with the ability to handle equipment from your area of manufacturing – whether that be metalworking or woodworking, rolling stock or construction equipment, and all assets in between.

Appraisals contain manufacturer, model and serial numbers, standard features and options, as well as digital photography.

Appraisals can be performed for personal use and information, as well as by lending and leasing institutions, courts, and the legal and accounting professions. We can perform them on a fair market value, orderly liquidation, and/or forced liquidation basis.

Our appraisals are performed to conform with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).

We are transparent. We don‘t play games. We want to get you value from your appraisal at a fair price. Fees are based on the time required to perform them, not on a percentage of value basis.

Our appraiser(s) will always conduct his/ her appraisal activities in a professional manner, demonstrating the highest level of integrity. This includes the appraiser having competent knowledge to perform an unbiased and objective appraisal for the piece of machinery or equipment.

Our appraisers follow the AMEA Code of Ethics to ensure opinions are fair and lead to a valid appraisal report.

All appraisals will be strictly confidential and shall not be furnished to another party unless specifically requested to do so by the client or a court of law.
